The Health & Safety Committee is a valuable resource for NCHCA members. Committee members are individuals with an interest in the health and safety of our industry. They share information, resources, knowledge and experience to make our industry safer.

While some of the committee members are safety professionals, by no means is it a requirement for participation as we have members from various backgrounds and positions. Anyone may join us and we encourage the sharing of our meeting content in order to provide our industry with as much health and safety support as possible.

There are many ways that the Health & Safety Committee can assist your organization, such as:

• providing information for your health and safety program development and content
• answering questions on COR certification, ISNetworld, Safety & Rebate Groups, etc.
• answering questions on WSIB, the Ministry of Labour, the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• TSSA or ESA contacts and support
• Knowledge of upcoming changes to legislation, blitzes, etc.
• Please join us at our next meeting! The Committee meets in person and virtually on the second Tuesday of every month.
